Rita Moreno was was left so giddy that she 'nearly peed my britches' when she met rock 'n' roll hunk Lenny Kravitz at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party last month.
Lenny, 59, was introduced to her and fell to his knees, waxing rhapsodic about 'how much he's admired' the West Side Story actress.
The 92-year-old was left 'astonished' by the 'marvelous' encounter, she dished during an interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
'How did you keep your cool?' asked Jennifer, prompting Rita to reply incredulously: 'Oh, I didn't! Keep my cool? Are you crazy?'
However Rita revealed that during Lenny's outburst she did turn to her daughter Fernanda, 57, and shoot her a look of smug satisfaction.

Fernanda was her mother's date to the Oscars and to the subsequent Vanity Fair party, Rita explained during her talk show appearance.
'Anyway, here's the thing - I introduce myself to people that I admire,' Rita explained. 'You know, if it's somebody very famous, I don't feel shy.'
As they made their way around the party, Rita saw Lenny standing by himself and told Fernanda: 'Look, there's Lenny Kravitz! Let's go say hello.'
Rita walked over and introduced herself, 'and at that point - you're not gonna believe this - he fell to the floor and he got on his knees and he just went on and on and on and on about how much he's admired me all these years and all that kind of stuff.'
Struggling to retain her composure, Rita 'just said: "Oooh, thank you!" And I kept saying: "Really? Really?" 'cause he kept telling me how, since he was a young boy and all that, he loved me and all that kind of stuff.'
Lenny has spent decades as a smoldering sex symbol of the music industry, and is often noted for his agelessly luminous good looks.
He recently allowed his fans to get a glimpse of the strenuous workout regimen that has enabled him to retain his statuesque figure.
He posted an Instagram video of himself at the Equinox Hudson Yards gym, lifting weights while positioned on one of the machines with the help of a trainer.

Lenny was recently affectionately trolled by his fans for posting a workout video of himself in black leather trousers and a see-through tank top
But in spite of his casual setting, Lenny was dressed as if for one of his concerts - the leather trousers with sunglasses and a see-through purple mesh tank top.
His fans reacted with hilarity, writing comments such as: 'Who trains in leather pants ??? Only Lenny does,' interspersed with crying laughing emoji.
'Reasons why I haven’t started working out: 1. I don’t own any leather pants. Yea that’s it,' another one of the commenters joked.
'My man never breaks character. Full time rockstar!' quipped one fan admiringly, while another wrote: 'Only Lenny can do get away with doing this.'
'Only Lenny Kravitz has the right to train in sunglasses and leather pants,' a commenter marveled in Spanish.
Other remarks included: 'Lenny is himself at all times,' 'You Are Not Playing . Period,' 'Naaaaa waaaooooooo,' and: 'My man!! Get it!'
'Working out in sunglasses, a mesh top, and leather pants. One of the last true rockstars,' a fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Lenny's exercise music was his own song Life Ain't Ever Been Better Than It Is Now, from his 2011 album Black And White America.
