Fresh off the success of his March 2023 release What Ifs & Maybes, Tom is eager to keep the momentum going, revealing details of his new work ahead of his much-anticipated Australian tour
His approach to his upcoming album involves taking significant risks to redefine his musical identity.
'Honestly, this next chapter of my musical journey... I'm taking a risk, mate,' Grennan revealed.
He also said he would like emulate the boldness of musical legends who weren't afraid to challenge the status quo.

'I'm just starting to say to myself, "If I want to be the biggest artist I possibly can be, then I have to follow in the footsteps of certain few people where they took risks and they weren't scared to put music out that maybe some people would be like, at first, what the f**k is this?" And then go, "actually, no, I get it".'
While his previous albums often delved into themes of heartbreak, Grennan hinted at a shift in focus for his new project, promising a deeper, more honest exploration of personal experiences.
'There's certain things that I think people are going to be surprised with because I've never really opened up so far into what is happening and what's going on, but I feel like everybody now who knows me deserves to know the whole truth,' he explained.

Amidst his musical evolution, Grennan also touched on his mental health struggles and acknowledged the importance of authenticity with his fans.
'Yeah man, definitely I'm not shy of it, I struggle, I also have a good time but, people are investing in them, so I think they deserve to know the truth.'
Grennan is set to return to Australia next month with shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

When asked about his first agenda upon landing, the singer's plans were clear: 'See what's going on in Australia. I've not been over there for a while. So just see what's happening.'
'I want to go visit a few beaches again. And also do gigs, do shows. I've got two big shows coming up. I know the Australian crowd is really on my side, so yeah, it's gonna be fun.'
Fans attending his shows can anticipate 'big production, big shows' similar to those he's known for in England, but with a personal touch that showcases his genuine connection with his audience.
'The shows are fun, they're energetic and the songs, the songs are good, it's sustainable. You're going to be coming into the show and having a sing song, and my shows are a community of people, everybody's safe and everybody's just down to have a good time.'
